To choose the correct size for you, measure your body as follows:

Measure around fullest part
2. WAIST
Measure around natural waistline
3. HIPS
Measure ~ 20cm down from the natural waistline

The Choti vests are made using embroidered deadstock suzani fabric and are designed to be slightly oversize  to allow for layering. A season-less and genderless piece, our statement kids jackets can be past down generations and will elevate any outfit.  Please see the garment measurements for size. The model is 2 yr 3 months.

About the craft: Suzani is an embroidered  tribal textile that was traditionally used as decorative pieces and as dowry in Central Asian countries. The craft soon reached North India through trade routes where various forms of it are still practiced today. 

About the fabric: We have used dead stock Indian Suzani  fabric sourced from Rajasthan. A light weight fabric with wool and cotton embroidery done on sewing machines,  each piece is one of a kind and is uniquely yours. Wear it proudly and treat it with care so it can be with you for many years to come. 

We travel to remote parts of India to discover and learn about heritage craft skills and textiles. We work with vintage, deadstock and handcrafted materials. Therefore, slight irregularities are the natural outcome of the process and are not faults. They connect you to the process and story behind each piece.

  • Fits 2-3 years
  • Since we try to minimise waist, the vests may be +/- 1 inch in size which does not fundamentally change the style or the fit.

Garment measurement in inches:

  • Chest (pit to pit) : 28-31 inches
  • Front length from collar: 14-15 inches.

  • Only spot cleaning is recommended due to the delicate nature of the fabric which may feature some fraying.
  • Do not machine wash.
